Job Description


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Comply with all federal and state environmental, health and safety regulations as well as any safety policies and protocols outlined by the company.
Ability to read, understand and interpret blue prints, shop drawings and inspection documents.
Ability to calculate using basic math techniques primarily fractions and decimals. (reading, writing, and converting)
Operate and utilize various pieces of equipment for precision measuring including but not limited to various hand tools, gages, and optical measuring equipment (OGP etc.)
Complete necessary forms and maintain detailed quality records, including certifications per GTC/CUSTOMER procedures or requirements
Must collaborate and communicate with other departmental supervisors and work station personnel.
Perform/ support mold approval activities
Perform miscellaneous duties in Quality Control including but not limited to: audits of documents, processes, and products; receiving / incoming inspection of product (finished /semi-finished), final shipping inspection of product (Visual, dimensional, and documentation)
Record data as required per internal and or customer requirements,
Other tasks as directed by supervisor / manager
Maintain good housekeeping in the work area
Perform miscellaneous duties in the Quality department as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience
Various computer functions will be performed using, but not limited to SAP, Lotus Notes, Excel, and Word.
Ability to exercise careful attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and make decisions within the scope of this job description
Annual quality re-verification is required.

Demonstrated ability to independently read and interpret production drawings, work instructions, Company documents and other specified requirements essential for performing standard job functions


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to work in positions requiring long periods of sitting.
Ability to work in positions requiring frequent reaching.
Ability to work in positions requiring continuous grasping and repetitive movements.
Ability to carry up to 30 lbs. without the use of mechanical devices.
Ability to work in position requiring occasional pushing, pulling, twisting, stooping and kneeling.
Ability to work in positions requiring occasional wearing of personal protective equipment such as
