Based in Piperton, Tennessee, Pyramex aims to hire talent that will serve with heart in order to build strong, trusted partnerships with customers providing unmatched service and customer care.
The Quality Control Inspector will assess parts and products using a variety of techniques, checking that specifications are met, and that the product works as intended. The Quality Control Inspector will be responsible for identifying product defects or potential issues and reporting them to the Quality Control Supervisor. The QC Inspector will follow the inspection schedule provided by the Quality Control Supervisor and be responsible for keeping detailed inspection records. They will support improvement and innovation by making suggestion to improve specific processes and ensure that products are produced consistently, and that defects or other errors will not persist throughout the manufacturing process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Ensures quality and regulatory compliance in accordance with documented procedures for all aspects of functional responsibility
  • Performs onsite receiving inspections of product and review of applicable documentation
  • Assists with in-house defect product/packaging correcting
  • Assists with investigations utilizing proven problem-solving methodologies
  • Assists the Quality Control Supervisor and Quality Control Specialist with quality-centered projects
  • Assists with the Returns processes
  • Assists warehouse with year-end inventory

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
  • High school diploma required
  • Ability to learn and use the following technology: Outlook, Microsoft TEAMS, NetSuite
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications required
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and physically sort through product on foot for 75% of the day when necessary
