Job Title: QC Technician (Dryer) Date: XX/XX/2025

Job Description: The Quality Control (QC) Technician is expected to monitor and document the production process within the Dryer department. He/she must follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) to complete all assigned tasks. The QC Technician must be able to meet a high standard of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). This position requires mutual respect, active communication and collaborative teamwork.

Department Specific Responsibilities

โ€ข Calibrate analytical instruments on a scheduled basis

โ€ข Update parameters of Wash Labels through Crystal Reports

โ€ข Print and apply Wash Labels on Dryer totes

โ€ข Create Packaging labels through Crystal reports

โ€ข Print and file Packaging labels into production folder

โ€ข Use analytical instruments to obtain

o Water Activity values using Water Activity Meter

o Moisture Content % values using Moisture Analyzer

โ€ข Record observations on forms

o Physical format โ€“ Wash sheets

o Digital format โ€“ Batch Master GP

โ€ข Inspect rare earth magnets and record observations

General QC Technician Responsibilities

โ€ข Conduct daily inspection and record observations on cGMP Dryer Checklist

โ€ข Perform pre-operational sanitation verification using ATP swabs and ATP reader

โ€ข Initiate Hold for non-conforming items

โ€ข Assist in the Environmental Monitoring Program (EMP) by swabbing areas in Dryer

โ€ข Assist in the training of new team members

โ€ข Report any issues or unusual observations to the QC Lead

โ€ข Maintain good housekeeping practices

โ€ข Perform other quality-related duties as assigned by QC Lead or Quality management
