Quality Assurance Engineer
About the Job
The Quality Assurance Specialist plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing quality standards within a Distribution Fulfillment Center. This position is responsible for conducting quality audits, analyzing operational data, identifying quality concerns, and driving process and cost improvements across fulfillment operations.
As a key quality leader, you will drive continuous improvement efforts through comprehensive Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective action initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure product quality, regulatory compliance, and exceptional customer satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on approach to evaluating processes, reviewing documentation, monitoring quality performance, and implementing sustainable quality solutions.
Key responsibilities include:
Developing, enhancing, and maintaining quality control procedures and standards.
Reviewing operational processes and documentation to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
Partnering with Engineering, Production, and Fulfillment teams to resolve quality issues.
Managing and reducing the Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) by addressing internal and external failure costs and eliminating process inefficiencies.
Promoting a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
What We're Looking For
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
Experience conducting quality audits, inspections, and process evaluations.
Knowledge of quality management principles, corrective action processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and fulfillment operations.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and translate findings into actionable improvements.
