As a Quality Specialist – QA Engineering, you will play a key role in strengthening quality systems, driving functional excellence, and supporting regional or product-line quality operations. You will provide guidance on quality processes, lead improvement initiatives, and partner with cross-functional teams to embed best practices and ensure compliance with Baker Hughes standards and customer requirements.

You will contribute to strategic decision-making, oversee activities across multiple quality disciplines, and support medium to large-scale initiatives that have broad business impact.

As a Quality Specialist – QA Engineering, you will be responsible for:
  • Collaborating with Production, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Communicating effectively with stakeholders on approaches and methodologies for solving complex quality challenges.
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining Quality Management System (QMS) processes and procedures.
  • Monitoring and analyzing product and process performance using statistical tools and data-driven techniques.
  • Leading root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) initiatives to address quality issues.
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen projects.
  • Investigating customer complaints and ensuring timely resolution and reporting.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality standards, policies, and procedures; escalating risks when necessary.
  • Tracking and delivering on continuous improvement metrics and performance targets.
  • Supporting internal and external audits, customer inspections, and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Maintaining accurate, complete, and compliant quality records in line with retention requirements.
  • Promoting a culture of quality, safety, and compliance across the organization.
To be successful in this role you will:
  • Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with significant quality-related experience).
  • Demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills.
