Job description

This role focuses on bridging the gap between client expectations and delivered value by supporting the successful implementation and adoption of Lightcast’s data solutions. Working closely with Account Managers and Sales Engineers, the Associate Solutions Architect helps clients operationalize APIs and Snowflake Data Shares, ensuring seamless onboarding, technical integration, and long-term solution support. 

This entry-level role is ideal for early-career professionals who are technically curious, client-focused, and interested in supporting customers via a Data-as-a-Service (DaaS) ecosystem.
*This is a remote position; however, candidates must reside in or near the Boston, Massachusetts area. The role requires periodic in-person meetings with the hiring manager and/or team throughout the year, so proximity to the Boston area is essential.*

Major Responsibilities:
  • Implementation & Activation: Collaborate with Account Managers and pre-sale Sales Engineers to understand solution requirements and guide clients through the technical implementation of Lightcast APIs and Snowflake Data Shares. Support onboarding by configuring environments, validating data delivery, and troubleshooting integration challenges.

  • Technical Support & Optimization: Act as a trusted post-sale technical resource by resolving customer issues, clarifying REST API payloads, recommending best practices for Direct Data Shares, and helping clients maximize the value of Lightcast.

  • Client Engagement & Communication: Lead kickoff meetings, host ongoing technical discussions and working sessions, and ensure clients have a clear understanding and effective adoption of solutions.

  • Revenue Protection & Growth: Partner with Account Managers to monitor client health, identify potential risks, and reinforce ROI to support renewals and expansion opportunities.

Education And Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, analytical, or business-related field, or equivalent practical experience.

  • 0–3 years of experience in technical, analytical, consulting, customer success, or other client-facing roles (internships included).

  • Foundational knowledge of APIs, SQL, and cloud data environments. Experience with programming languages such as Python is a plus.

  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with a client-first mindset.

  • Ability to navigate technical documentation and learn new tools quickly.

  • Familiarity with large language model (LLM) tools and interest in using AI to enhance prototyping, documentation, and workflows.
