Summary
The Technical Systems Associate supports data, systems, and website-backend-related initiatives across the organization by performing technical analysis, reporting, data quality, automation, and system support activities. This cross-functional role is designed to build internal technical capability while improving visibility into key business metrics including revenue, margin, customer activity, and sales performance.
This position is embedded within Sales team but will support Operations, Marketing, IT, and Engineering teams as needed. The role requires a strong foundation in computer science, data analysis, and business systems, with the ability to translate business needs into technical execution.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Perform SAP C4C analysis, including pricing ticket analysis, margin validation, and sales quote analysis to help determine accurate order value.
  • Perform SAP S4 analysis, including orders and shipment analysis, revenue and margin performance review, and material and customer analysis to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Support data quality and governance initiatives to ensure accuracy and consistency across systems, including C4C, S4, HubSpot, and related tools.
  • Assist with reporting, data structuring, and ad hoc analysis for Sales Operations, SAP, and leadership teams.
  • Identify gaps and inconsistencies across leads, opportunities, customer data, and downstream order data.
  • Support data extraction, transformation, and analysis using tools such as SQL, Python, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Assist in building repeatable reporting, dashboards, and automation to reduce manual processes and improve access to business information.
  • Document data flows, reporting processes, and system interactions across business systems and related tools.
  • Support basic system configuration, data mapping, and process improvement activities as needed.
  • Assist with WordPress backend updates, website analytics, and Google Tag Manager activities within entry-level scope.
  • Support user journey tracking, engagement and conversion analysis, and attribution of direct traffic and non-campaign digital activity.
  • Provide technical support to IT initiatives, including system rollouts, troubleshooting, and related cross-functional projects.
  • Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales Operations, and IT teams on minor web, reporting, and development-related tasks.
  • Serve as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical systems by helping translate operational needs into data, reporting, and system support solutions.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field. Entry-level professional experience or internship experience in data analysis, business systems, reporting, web support, or related technical work preferred. Or equivalent combination of education and experience.
