Job description

Camgian is hiring an entry-level IT Support Specialist. The successful candidate will support a variety of duties pertaining to the updating, maintaining, and monitoring of the company's computer systems and networks. They will assist with hardware and software installations and upgrades; perform system scans, analysis, reporting, and documentation; and assist with Identity and Access Management of Camgian's network. Camgian is seeking self-motivated candidates capable of delivering in a fast-paced environment. This position will report to the Director of IT within the company's Operations organization. This is a full-time, on-site position based out of our Corporate Headquarters in Starkville, MS.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with great attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Familiarity with automation scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python).
  • Familiarity with Linux Operating System administration.
  • Familiarity with Windows Operating System (Server and Workstation) administration.
  • Familiarity with Router and Firewall administration.
  • Familiarity with Lan Network administration to include switch, cabling, and Wi-Fi network administration.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
  • United States Citizenship is required.

Preferred Skills
  • Experienced in diagnosing and troubleshooting LAN, WAN, and VPN technologies, including cloud networking.
  • Knowledge of network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS (ISC BIND9), and DHCP (ISC KEA).
  • Ability to work with Identity and Access Management (IAM) or related roles.
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, Azure AD, M365, and directory services.
  • Experience with Microsoft and Linux patch management.
  • Familiarity with IAM tools and technologies like Okta, SailPoint, Ping Identity, etc.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) and their IAM components.
  • Experience with CMMC security controls.
  • Ability to support creation of firewalls and updating virus protection software and data security systems to keep data and communications protected
  • Ability to conduct threat monitoring, detection, incident response, and recovery efforts, ensuring effective and timely handling of security incidents.
  • Ability to conduct regular risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and penetration tests to identify and address security gaps.

  • Support corporate network hardware installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and monitoring.
  • Support corporate user account / IAM definition, configuration, and administration.
  • Other duties as assigned.
