Position Summary
The Data Management Analyst leverages AI, advanced analytics, and modern data engineering practices to transform business and customer data into actionable insights, scalable data products, and reliable decision-support capabilities while partnering across Finance, Marketing, Contact Center, SPG, Data Science, and BI teams.
Located at our office in Naperville, our office environment is a key driver of our company culture and employee experience, so a regular in-office hybrid model (T-TH in office and M & F remote) is required.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Develop and maintain dbt pipelines (dbt Core) and metadata-driven SQL frameworks.
  • Develop and maintain LookML models, explores, and dashboards to deliver governed, analytics-ready data products and scalable self-service reporting capabilities.
  • Build analytics-ready datasets and data products in partnership with Data Science and BI teams.
  • Apply software engineering best practices including Python, object-oriented design, GitHub, and CI/CD automation.
  • Author tests, monitoring, and alerting to ensure data quality, platform reliability, and operational excellence.
  • Investigate and resolve data incidents and support ongoing platform maintenance and optimization.

Experience and Qualifications of the Role:
  • 2+ years of experience in analytics engineering, business intelligence, data engineering, or related data-focused roles.
  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable data products, analytics solutions, and actionable insights.
  • Strong SQL, data modeling, and data transformation skills.
  • Experience building and maintaining analytics-ready datasets, semantic data models, and data warehouse solutions.
  • Experience developing and supporting data pipelines using modern data stack technologies such as dbt, Snowflake, and Git.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement code versioning standards, participate in peer code reviews, and work within CI/CD development processes.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on automation, data quality, observability, and platform reliability.
  • Experience partnering with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
  • Effective in both independent and collaborative environments with working knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools and modern automation techniques is a plus.

Computer Skills Needed to Perform the Job:
  • Advanced SQL proficiency for data transformation, analysis, and optimization.
  • Experience with Snowflake or other modern cloud data warehouse platforms.
  • Experience with dbt (preferred) or similar data transformation frameworks.
  • Experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD workflows.
  • Proficiency in Python for data processing, automation, and troubleshooting.
  • Experience developing and supporting business intelligence solutions using Looker, including LookML modeling and dashboard development.
  • Understanding of ETL/ELT architectures, data pipeline orchestration, and data quality practices.
  • Experience working with large-scale datasets and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted development and productivity tools is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or equivalent experience.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • Certification in Snowflake, Certification in Tableau or any other BI Tool

The base pay range for this position is $79,475 - $111,250 USD Annual. The specific pay offered will depend on qualifications, experience, education and skill set. The compensation offered may also include an annual performance-based bonus, sales incentive plan or commission target.
