Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
  • Test Assistance: Support Automotive Systems Validation Engineer (post-silicon) with hardware and software validation tasks including test execution and data collection
  • Hardware Debug: Work with lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, multimeters, thermal probes, digital power supplies) to debug boards and sensor interfaces
  • Software Support: Run and adapt basic Python scripts for data parsing, logging, and automated test control
  • Data Analysis: Process and visualize test data using M365, Pyplot, or MATLAB to identify anomalies and summarize results
  • Documentation: Record test procedures, observations, and results in engineering trackers and contribute to test reports
  • Standards Training: Learn and apply production-level engineering standards, safety practices, and validation workflows
  • Collaboration: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to reproduce issues, escalate findings, and implement corrective actions

Your Profile
Qualifications and skills to help you succeed
  • Education: Current student working on a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Quality Assurance preferred
  • Programming: Entry-level Python familiarity including basic data structures, class usage, and scripting
  • Instrumentation: Basic hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power supplies, and thermal probes
  • Data Tools: Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Pyplot or MATLAB and Microsoft 365 for reporting
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication, attention to detail, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment

Wage range that the company expects to pay for a qualified candidate:
Minimum of $27 dollars per hour
Maximum of $39.50 dollars per hour
Depending on major and highest level of education completed
In addition, all employees will be eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
This position is not currently eligible for H-1B sponsorship.
