DP World is seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and ambitious Tax Analyst to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to learn, expand their skills, and develop their tax career. This role will provide exposure to a variety of corporate finance functions and personnel.
The Tax Analyst will support the accurate and timely remittance of tax payments, preparation of international tax forms related to the U.S. tax return, and reporting for various non-income taxes. This position will work closely with the Tax Manager.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Significant involvement in the tax accounting processes for the Americas region, including US international tax compliance & analysis
  • Assist in the preparation of bi-annual and annual tax accounting provisions under IAS12
  • Preparation of international tax forms as filed with the 1120 including forms 1118, 5471, 5472, 8990, 8992, and 8993
  • Prepare annual personal property tax returns across various U.S. locations
  • Preparation of U.S. withholding tax forms 1042 and Canadian withholding tax forms NR4
  • Prepare Foreign Bank and Financial Accounts (FBAR) forms
  • Preparation of Canadian compliance supporting workpapers that will be provided to external advisors for use in the filing of the Canadian tax return
  • Prepare various U.S. and Canadian government surveys
  • Conduct tax research and analyze foreign tax issues relating to the Americas region
  • Support the Tax Manager across international compliance, audits, and tax planning activities, including working with external advisors and local accounting teams
  • Assist in the review and analysis of tax laws and participate in various income and non-income tax projects for a large multinational enterprise, providing analytical and operational support under the direction of the Tax Manager

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
  • 2+ years of tax experience in a public accounting or large corporate environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft products, specifically Excel
  • Strong analytical and tax research capabilities
  • CPA preferred but not required
