This Position Reports To:Project Manager / Senior Project Manager
Position Summary The Project Coordinator supports the Project Management team by helping keep construction projects organized, documented, and moving forward. This role assists with project paperwork, scheduling, material tracking, and communication between the office and field teams. This is an entry-level project management position designed to develop future Assistant Project Managers.
Responsibilities

  • Maintain project files and documentation.
  • Track RFIs, submittals, change orders, and permits.
  • Assist with material orders and delivery coordination.
  • Schedule meetings and take meeting notes.
  • Support Project Managers with project reporting and administrative tasks.
  • Communicate with vendors, subcontractors, customers, and field personnel.
  • Help track project costs, invoices, and purchase orders.
  • Assist with creating T&M tickets, Change Orders, and Purchase Orders.
  • Assist with project closeout documentation.
  • Keep project logs and records updated.
  • Provide general support to the Project Management team.


Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Construction or project coordination experience is preferred but not required.


Preferred Experience

  • Construction, underground utilities, or administrative experience.
  • Familiarity with project management software such as Viewpoint, Autodesk, or Monday.com.
