At Moss Utilities, we specialize in underground utility installations across the DFW Metroplex. Our project experience includes commercial, single-family residential, multi-family residential, and public works infrastructure.

Project Coordinator

Role Summary

The Project Coordinator supports Project Management and on-site Superintendents by tracking, documenting, and coordinating construction materials across active projects. This is a hybrid office and field role that plays a key part in ensuring crews have the right materials at the right time, while maintaining accurate records from project to project.

The role also supports Project Managers by verifying production quantities and confirming field labor hours by project phase. The Project Coordinator reports to Project Management and is designed as a developmental pathway to future Project Manager positions.

Responsibilities

  • Track material deliveries, usage, and shortages on-site.
  • Work directly with Project Managers and Superintendents to verify daily material deliveries.
  • Coordinate with Superintendents on material quantities used and installed by project and phase for daily production tracking.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on material movement.
  • Maintain accurate material logs and support documentation.
  • Report on material issues, shortages, or discrepancies to the project team.
  • Support basic inventory counts and reconciliation.
  • Inventory materials returned for credit at project completion.
  • Perform QA/QC checks for material quality and compliance with city specifications and details.
  • Work with Project Managers to develop skills and prepare for advancement opportunities.

Qualifications
