Job Description Summary:
Assist with preparation and assembly of documents associated with scheduling and productivity claims analysis for which the Contractor has entitlement for recovery under the Contract.
Job Description:
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Able to perform all essential Entry Level/Intern Project Engineer responsibilities
• Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in development of master project schedules
• Assist Project Manager and Superintendent in updating schedules
• Assist with determining weekly labor production quantities
• Assist in project filing system maintenance
• Compile data to support Claims Analysis and prepare charts and graphs
• Analyze project documentation, contracts and subcontracts
• Prepare various project and program reports
• Assist with system administrator functions related to P6 EPPM
• Assist with preparation of settlement negotiations including recovery projections
• Regular travel (both locally, and inter-state) required
• Performs other duties as assigned
MINIMUM SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
• Engineering, Construction Management or Architectural degree, or equivalent experience
• Experience in construction industry strongly preferred
• Intermediate knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook PowerPoint, Access)
• Experience using P6 software.
• Knowledge of construction means and methods, management techniques and cost accounting principles
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including business writing skills, and professional telephone manner
• Reliability, dependability and flexibility
• Ability to regularly travel
The anticipated salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000 annually. Compensation is based on geographic location and may vary depending on the candidate's primary work location.
