Taylor's Construction is seeking Groundmen to support telecommunications construction crews with fiber installation and utility pole projects. This entry-level role is ideal for those beginning a career in telecom construction.


  • Assist crews with loading/unloading fiber, equipment, and materials.
  • Maintain safe and clean work areas around telecom construction sites.
  • Operate hand tools and basic equipment under supervision.
  • Provide traffic control and site setup support.
  • Perform manual labor tasks to support fiber installation and pole placement.

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Willingness to perform physical labor outdoors in all conditions.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work as part of a crew.
  • Valid driver’s license, preferred.
  • Strong desire to learn fiber optic and telecom construction skills.
