Position Summary

Looking for a maternity cover for approximately 7-8 months to support our New Membership Transition project. The ideal candidate can hit the ground running and continue established ways of working and existing mechanisms, with experience and understanding of industry reporting, engagement, and partnership frameworks. 

The objective is not to reinvent the wheel during this period, but to ensure smooth continuity and support execution with a positive attitude, agile mindset, and strong problem-solving approach. 

Ideal candidate should be available to start from mid-September 2026. 


Key Responsibilities

  • Primarily manage the New Membership transition project and related cross functional interventions. 
  • Serve as key point of contact for the project and ensure continued momentum, shared visibility, alignment, and appropriate level of documentation. 
  • Ensure existing project structure is supported by working closely with project teams to support movement of tasks, progress tracking, decision making, and removing roadblocks, for ease of implementation and execution. 


Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Important to keep the momentum going based on consistency, alignment, visibility: by supporting project teams in its execution of the project plan by fostering cross-functional alignment and visibility on the project as well as ensuring project teams follow consistent agreed upon ways of working. 
  • Critical to maintain regular touchpoints with entire project team, oversee and ensure team regularly uses Click Up to track and showcase progress, help the team refine backlog and priorities continuously.  
  • Maintain regular alignment with the Sponsors, Product Owner and Project Lead. 
  • Support right level of documentation with decisions and directions, ensuring cross functional visibility with relevant stakeholders.  
  • Ensure a high degree of visibility for stakeholders and decision-makers involved in the project. 
  • Maintain project roadmap and proactively identify, flag, and mitigate risks to project delivery in collaboration with experts to support the success of the project.  
  • Organize information and agendas and convene task teams, facilitate meetings, and other activities to coordinate cross-functional work and external input to deliver project milestones. 
  • Maintaining positive and supportive relationship with stakeholders is key for success of this role. 
  • Comfortably provide appropriate project reminders and follow-ups. 
  • Manage scope creep and facilitate scope change requests.  


Secondary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Participate in Project Management Office meetings and attend Departmental/ organizational meetings etc. to build overall context.  
  • Meet weekly with PMO leadership to provide project updates and escalate any concerns or challenges that arise. 


Minimum Qualifications

  • Intermediate level to project management experience.  
  • Experience on cross-functional projects. 
  • Experience and understanding of industry reporting, membership engagement, and partnership landscape to allow appropriate interventions and support as a Project Maternity Cover. 
  • Positive attitude, problem-solving and agile mindset, ability to understand the needs of internal stakeholders. 
  • Experience with backlog refinement, hosting agile ceremonies, sharing updates with the team and leadership, documenting and mitigating risks and dependencies, tracking key decisions, mapping timelines, and supporting scope and resource management. We are a young PMO and formal ways of working are new to many people at the organization so in order to succeed, candidate must be able to work with people who do not have much knowledge of project management.  
  • Experience using project management tool to run projects. 


Preferred Qualifications

  • ClickUp experience 
  • Non-profit experience would be great, especially relevance of working with different groups of stakeholders.  
  • Experience working at or with membership organizations is a plus.  
  • Preference to European time zone, with flexibility and ability to integrate a few working hours with the US time zone when required. 
  • Lean management style is a must! 
  • PMP, PRINCE, Scrum Master, Kanban Practitioner or other project management certification preferred. 
  • Someone who can take up work smoothly andensure the set cadence is followed, without much disruption or need to introduce new ways of working or mechanisms unless necessary and aligned with project leadership (sponsors & owners)  


Employment Package 

  • Full-Time Position, 32 Hours a Week
  • Required travel: up to 20%
  • Annual Salary Range: $75,000 - $100,000 USD FTE ($60,000 - $80,000)
