Title: Assistant Project Manager, Dry Utility Coordination

Type: Full time, exempt

Location: Reston, Virginia (remote flexibility)

Reports To: Director of Dry Utility Coordination

DFM Development Services has a need to hire an internal Assistant Project Manager to assist with various tasks within our unique multi-disciplined consulting operation that supports our real estate developer clients throughout the Metro DC Region.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute upon tasks set by Supervisor with respect to both currently and potentially awarded projects.
    • Tasks will include submitting utility record requests, damage protection utility locate requests, conducting supervised site visits and assessments, submitting service request packages to the utility providers, compile meeting minutes and continuously learn about the utility companies, their processes and the processes related to our client's development types.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with the utility providers and their various contractors.
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with other DFM/Muller team members.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years in a client-facing or customer service role.
  • Strong verbal, reading, and writing communication skills.
  • Excellent business writing and administrative abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
