Description

  • Work with a technical planning team to support the planning and installation of equipment and structure as required for new model integration, refurbishment, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Projects will range from small upgrade and improvement projects (change management) to new model projects.
  • Other tasks may include, but not limited to: design, project management, digitalization and scanning, CAD, simulations, programming, etc.

Qualifications

  • Major: Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Team player mindset.
  • Self-driven to push projects and tasks forward.
  • Good Communication skills.
  • Problem Solving / Analytical skills.
  • Organized and able to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • MS Office knowledge required.
  • Basic CAD knowledge (preferred 3D).
  • Preferred but not mandatory: Excel macro, Sharepoint, Apex, etc.
  • Support planning and installation topics.
  • Manage contractors to maintain schedule.
  • Technical verification of installation.
  • Creation of bid documents.
  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
  • Have enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours / week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term.
  • THE WORK TERM DATES ARE January 11th - May 14th, 2027.
  • Must be an enrolled student during all three rotations.
