Summary:

Do you like robotics and want to make a positive impact on some of the most groundbreaking robotics and consumer electronics projects in Silicon Valley? We’re seeking a creative and motivated Entry Level Electrical Engineer with excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills to join our team to ensure innovative design solutions are provided to all our clients.

As an Entry-Level Electrical Engineer, you would get to work on Schematic Capture, PCB Layout, Hand-Soldering Circuits and more. In addition, you will have the opportunity to grow and develop your skills by working on a variety of unique client projects. This opportunity is ideal for a candidate who has some experience in the industry, solid working skills, and wants to learn more through on the job training. This job is HOURLY. It is NOT a salaried position.

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience using Altium Designer for both schematic capture and PCB layout
  • Experience hand-soldering circuits preferably SMT
  • Demonstrated prior knowledge of basic digital circuit design techniques

Nice to Have:

  • Writing firmware in C or C++, Python
  • Writing applications for Raspberry Pi or STM32

Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, test, and manufacture consumer electronics and robotics
  • Performance advise PCB reworks and repair
  • Bring-up and testing of boards and robotic systems (PCBs, charging, peripherals, batteries, etc.)
  • Utilize Altium to perform PCB Schematic Capture/Layout, Produce PCB Exports for Fabrication and Assembly
  • Ability to work in teams and collaborate
