Our team of professionals prepare design plans for new construction and renovation projects in education, healthcare & utility market sectors, among others. Our St. Louis Civil team is looking for an entry-level Civil Staff Engineer who is ready to jump in and support the team. Our ideal candidate holds a bachelor's degree, has 1+ years of Civil Engineering experience, including internships & has successfully passed the FE exam.

Essential Duties:
  • Prepares engineering plans utilizing AutoCAD/Revit or similar design platforms.
  • Assists in production of final construction drawings, details, and specifications
  • Prepares reports and calculations based on assigned project(s) including assessments, analysis, opinions of cost and other key components
  • Assists project managers as requested.
  • Assists with client contact and communication pertaining to specific projects.
  • Works closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
  • May perform site investigations and inspections in the field during and post construction.
  • Attends client and public meetings as needed
  • Participates in and conducts research on local regulations based on project location(s)
  • Participate in business development efforts as requested.
  • Provides technical support and assistance to project teams in the preparation and delivery of project deliverables.
  • Works collaboratively with project managers, senior engineers, and project team members to support the coordination, completeness, and accuracy of project deliverables and technical requirements.
  • Demonstrate the potential or ability to lead technical efforts as part of the overall design process
  • Follow and abide by the DMA employee and safety manuals
  • Completes other duties as assigned
