ABOUT THE ENTRY LEVEL ROLE
As a Textron employee, you'll take on meaningful work from day one-contributing to real projects and collaborating with experienced team members across the business. This entry-level opportunity is designed to help you build your skills, gain exposure across functions, and grow through hands-on experience, mentorship, and development opportunities.
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for supporting Textron Aviation Parts and Distribution (TAPD) customers (internal and external) through creation and maintenance of master data records in support of all Textron aircraft platforms.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Performs daily activities in support of business needs.

  • Creates and maintains materials in ERP system in accordance with standard work.

  • Reviews engineering and manufacturing engineering information and aligns ERP settings accordingly.

  • Works to ensure system integrity and data accuracy to deliver best in class customer service.

  • Collaborates cross functionally to identify and resolve discrepancies.

  • Frequent contact with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Sales, Customer Service, New Programs, Planning, Supply Chain, Pricing team and other aftermarket and production areas.

  • May require release approval for part setup and maintenance activities.

EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
  • Bachelor's degree required in Business Administration, Aviation, or related field.

  • In lieu of degree, minimum 4 years relevant Aviation experience: such as, material requirements planning, supply chain, manufacturing engineering, inventory control, or relevant industry experience.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Working knowledge of SAP and knowledge of material master transactions is preferred.

  • Working knowledge of engineering, planning (MRP & Manufacture), and SCM (Supply Chain Management) principles

  • Ability to research engineering documents and industry standards accurately and effectively

  • Ability to read, evaluate and comprehend data from multiple sources: i.e., engineering drawings, specs & standards, supplier data, COs (engineering change orders), DCNs (drawing change notice), CRs (change requests), etc.

  • Strong organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal).

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products with emphasis on Excel, Power BI, and TEAMS
