Summary 

We’re looking for an entry-level Software Engineer to join our Boca Raton technology team.  In this role, you’ll help design, build and maintain internal software applications and tools that support our business operations, working across the full stack from internal, front-end interfaces to back-end services and databases.

You’ll collaborate closely with senior engineers and cross-functional business stakeholders to understand requirements, write clean and maintainable code, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to the ongoing improvements of our internal systems.   This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career developer to grow their technical skills while working on real-world projects that directly impact our organization.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Write, test and debug code across front-end and back-end components
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software defects
  • Document code and technical processes
  • Collaborate within a team environment and across teams or with external partners or vendors to design and implement new features
  • Participate in code reviews and follow team coding standards
  • Continuously learn new tools, languages, and best practices
  • Meet agreed upon deadlines
  • Perform duties with little or no supervision
  • Attend required training or team/company events
  • Adhere to company guidelines and policies

Competencies

To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Requires bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or equivalent experience
  • Experience/competency in building applications with Microsoft .NET Framework with a strong history of using C#
  • Experience building web-based applications including:
    • Proficiency in HTML, JavaScript, CSS
    • Consuming and creating APIs
    • Experience working with Blazor is a plus
    • Experience working with cloud native architectures a plus
  • Experience working with data storage to include:
    • Designing data models
    • Relational databases such as MSSQL, PostgreSQL, NOSQL variants such as Dynamo a plus
    • Cloud storage such as S3
  • Familiarity with LLMs and related technologies such as MCP/UCP a plus
  • Ability to take a positive team approach to working with co-workers and adhering to our SDLC
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
  • Ability to adjust to changing priorities
