  • Use measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, micrometers, squares, and inspection gauges.
  • Read and interpret fabrication drawings, part prints, work orders, and Bills of Lading (BOLs).
  • Verify materials, welds, and fabricated parts meet project specifications and quality standards.
  • Document inspections, non-conformance issues, and corrective actions as required.
  • Coordinate with production, welding, and shipping teams to address quality issues.
  • Operate forklifts or other material handling equipment when required.
  • Support quality checks in production, welding, shipping, or receiving depending on assignment.
  • Work in indoor and outdoor shop or yard environments as needed.
  • Follow company safety policies and promote safe work practices.

What You Bring

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Ability to read measuring tools and basic fabrication drawings.
  • Willingness to learn fabrication quality standards and inspection procedures.
  • Dependable work habits and ability to follow established processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work safely in a steel fabrication or industrial environment.
  • Experience in quality control, steel fabrication, welding inspection, shipping/receiving, or forklift operation is beneficial.

Education | Experience
