Job description

We are a leading tooling manufacturer for the packaging industry, dedicated to outputting quality products and world-class service. Our company has been in operation for over 25 years and specializes in steel-rule cutting dies and printing plates. Currently, we are seeking an individual to join our cutting die production team as an Assembler. It is an entry-level position that offers tremendous growth potential, as well as a competitive salary and benefits package. Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Reading and understanding assembly drawings
  • Preparing materials
  • Aligning materials and assembling parts to build more complex units
  • Adhering to job specifications
  • Checking output to ensure product quality
  • Creating proofs of each completed product
  • Working both independently and within a team

Qualifications:

  • Must be available for second shift (12pm to 8pm) and overtime
  • Must be able to measure components to a 1/32nd of an inch with a ruler or measuring tape
  • Must be able to lift product weighting up to 60lbs unassisted
  • Must be able to use hand tools
  • Must be comfortable with power tools
  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Must have a mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
  • Must be able to follow verbal and written instructions
  • Candidates with experience in a manufacturing, light industrial, or job shop environment preferred
