Job description

Battery Technology Inc is searching for hard-working candidates who can thrive in a fast-paced environment for Shipping and Production associate at City of Industry, California.

Hours of Operations: 8:30am - 5pm Monday - Friday


This position will be broken down to 2 job roles:


Shipping Associate responsibilities include the following:

  • Box and ship all packages in a timely and cost effective manner
  • Counting, weighing, sorting, packing and unpacking products of various sizes to make sure shipments are safe
  • Loading and unloading packages from delivery vehicles, trailers, pallets, and conveyor system carts
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling packages on a continuous and repetitive basis
  • Operating carts, dollies, and other moving equipment to move large quantities of merchandise
  • Inspect and receive goods into our system
  • Using scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory, locate items, ensure accuracy and placing product in designated storage locations.
  • Working with shipping carriers to schedule pickups, track shipments, and resolve any delivery issues.
  • Warehouse Shipping and Receiving jobs are entry level and do not require any previous experience
  • Must have reliable transportation and good attendance
  • Ability to stand for entire shift and walk throughout the warehouse
  • Individual must also be able to lift and carry heavy boxes, (20-70lbs minimum)
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with others
  • Keeping the warehouse tidy, following safety procedures, and ensuring compliance with regulations, ensuring the safety of other staff

Production Associate responsibilities include the following:

  • Assist in assembling, processing, and packaging products according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
  • Operate production machinery and follow safety guidelines.
  • Inspect products for quality assurance.
  • Maintain production quotas and deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace within the factory or warehouse environment.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
  • BTI will provide training for assembling and producing the product.
