Job description

Job Description: We are seeking an entry-level Production Technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, able to read and interpret technical drawings, and comfortable working with both hand and power tools. Prior experience with cable building (RF, Ethernet, and signal cables) is highly desired, as is experience with IT rack builds.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble and install components, cables, and hardware based on technical drawings and work instructions.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and assembly documentation.
  • Build, route, and terminate cables (RF, Ethernet, and signal) per required specifications.
  • Utilize a variety of hand and power tools in the assembly and installation of equipment.
  • Assist in building and installing IT racks and related assemblies.
  • Perform basic quality checks to ensure assemblies meet company and industry standards.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Mechanical aptitude and demonstrated ability to work with hand and power tools.
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and schematics.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience building cables (RF, Ethernet, signal).
  • Experience assembling IT racks or similar equipment.
