What you'll do
  • Drive product development: As a member of a small, high-leverage engineering team, you'll have meaningful ownership over the product development process, significantly impacting our product and business growth.
  • Build dynamic, intelligent interfaces: Use leading AI technology and work with experienced product designers to build best-in-class functionality to transform our customers' workflows.
  • Use the best tooling: Use tools like Meticulous, Amp, Honeycomb, Temporal, and PostHog to build and support industry-leading software. If you're not familiar with these tools, we'll help you learn them!
  • Collaborate in-person with leadership: Work closely with our Head of Product and Head of Engineering in our New York office to elevate our product from early traction to industry leadership.
  • Innovate quickly: Iterate rapidly with the Luminary team to build a generational business that democratizes wealth tech. We ship to production 20+ times per day.

Who you are
  • You have 2+ years of software engineering experience at companies with strong engineering practices.
  • Product-focused: You are a frontend-leaning fullstack engineer with a product mindset. You thrive on understanding what our customers are trying to accomplish and in building functionality to make their lives better.
  • Growth mindset: You want to be a great engineer! You enjoy building software and care about the craft of doing so.

    • Cloud-based web applications and complex data models
