The Buyer role is responsible for procuring materials, equipment, and services required to support production and business operations while ensuring cost, quality, and delivery objectives are achieved. Across all levels, Buyers work closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to manage purchase orders, resolve supply issues, maintain accurate ERP data, and support uninterrupted production. Progression through the levels reflects increasing responsibility, moving from executing transactional purchasing activities and supplier communications, to independently managing supplier relationships, negotiations, and procurement planning, and ultimately leading strategic sourcing initiatives, supplier performance management, cost reduction efforts, and complex procurement decisions that support organizational objectives

  • Assist in identifying and sourcing potential suppliers to support procurement needs.
