Overview

MSA has an opportunity for a Graduate Engineer II Public Works at our Baraboo, Madison, or Beaver Dam office locations. This position primarily supports regional municipal clients with a wide variety of project types through a combination of design and field support. For technical work, this position will utilize both Revit and Civil3D. Project types may include: Utilities, municipal infrastructure, marinas, agriculture, parks and recreation, site and roadway illumination, private power distribution, and more.

Responsibilities

The work you may do

  • Preparation of work plans and engineering services contracts, invoices, and amendments
  • Planning, design, bidding, and construction engineering services on municipal and industrial projects
  • Preparation of site layout, process mechanical, and process control for project using Civil3D, AutoCAD, Revit, CadWorks software
  • May perform construction administration duties such as documenting activities, communicating to project managers regarding status and progress of construction, measuring and testing, providing general oversight, and interacting with contractors, sub-contractors, residents and City Staff.
  • Complete project administration for municipal projects, including attending client meetings
Qualifications

What you bringSkills & Knowledge / Education & Experience:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required
  • 1+ years of relevant, post-graduate engineering experience required
  • FE/EIT required
  • Revit and Civil3D experience preferred
