A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME ENTRY-LEVEL UNARMED SECURITY GUARD

As an Unarmed Security Guard, you enjoy watching over your assigned property. Alert and observant, you are the eyes and ears of Alliance Detective & Security Service, Inc. You maintain access control to a secure facility. Thanks to the excellent and comprehensive training that we have provided, you remain calm and handle any issues confidently and professionally while applying your conflict resolution skills.

You communicate respectfully and effectively with anyone you come in contact with whether clients, employees, residents, trespassers, emergency response personnel, or law enforcement. With attention to detail, you are conscientious about accurately maintaining complete logs and writing clear reports during your shift. Both Alliance and our clients can depend on you. You feel great about the important role you play in keeping people and property safe!

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A FULL-TIME OR PART-TIME ENTRY-LEVEL UNARMED SECURITY GUARD

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 19 years old
  • Valid driver's license and a personally owned vehicle
  • Personal cell phone (to call on and off duty with our dispatch center)
  • Personal e-mail (to accept and confirm shift assignments)
  • Ability to pass a CORI/SORI and drug screening
  • Customer service skills

One year of security-related experience is preferred but we can train the right person! Are you known for being prompt, reliable, and having a strong work ethic? Can you exercise sound judgment and be flexible during tense situations? Do you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal? Are you capable of following complex instructions? Do you have a commanding presence? Are you friendly, professional, honest, trustworthy, and guided by integrity? If so, you might just be perfect for the entry-level Unarmed Security Guard position!

PART-TIME OR FULL-TIME WORK SCHEDULE WITH 1st SHIFTS AND 2nd SHIFTS

Part-time and full-time positions are available. We are looking for candidates that have flexibility with first shifts, second shifts, weekends, and holidays. 1st shift for this site is 7:00 am-1:00pm. 2nd shifts are 1:00pm - 7:00pm. Two shifts per week and at least one weekend day per week are required.
