POSITION SUMMARY: 

The Resort Services Runner is an entry-level, hourly position responsible for the daily upkeep, cleanliness, and curb appeal of Villatel properties. This role focuses on the routine cleaning of exterior grill equipment, trash bin sanitation, and the general maintenance of outdoor spaces. The Runner ensures that our homes make a perfect first impression by performing regular exterior inspections and facilitating immediate cleaning or pressure washing as needed. This position is highly active and requires a detail-oriented individual who can work independently to maintain Villatel's high standards of presentation.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

Exterior Equipment & Sanitation

  • Grill Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning and routine maintenance of exterior grills to ensure they are sanitary and guest-ready.
  • Trash Bin Care: Responsible for the regular cleaning and sanitization of exterior trash bins across the site.
  • Site Inspections: Conduct frequent exterior walks to identify and remove loose debris or litter from the grounds.
  • Curb Appeal: Monitor the condition of sidewalks and driveways, ensuring they are free of stains and debris.

Maintenance Support & Field Tasks

  • Pressure Washing: Facilitate and perform pressure washing for sidewalks, driveways, and entryways as identified during inspections.
  • Entry-Level Repairs: Assist the broader maintenance team with simple, miscellaneous tasks and minor technical tickets as assigned.
  • Reporting: Notify the Maintenance Field Lead or Manager of any larger maintenance issues or safety hazards discovered during daily rounds.
  • Software Usage: Use Breezeway to log completed tasks, upload photos of cleaned areas, and track daily progress.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous experience in janitorial, groundskeeping, or general maintenance is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and a pride in maintaining a clean, professional environment.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to carry equipment and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Active driver's license is required.
