Summary: The Quality Control Inspector is an entry-level role with responsibility for supporting the Quality Manager and the quality team in maintaining and improving product quality. This role includes conducting inspections and tests on materials, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and contributing to corrective actions for continuous improvement.

Essential Functions:

  • Inspect and test incoming, in-process, and finished materials according to specifications through visual and measurement tests.
  • Participate in corrective action activities to enhance overall quality.
  • Perform line audits to ensure product conformance to standards.
  • Document inspection and audit results in the appropriate systems.
  • Complete full dimensional checks and reporting for sample parts.
  • Review and understand the requirements of the Quality Management System.
  • Follow procedures, work instructions, and reference materials to ensure consistent process quality.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions for process and procedural improvements.
  • Assist in material evaluation, including sorting and reworking materials.
  • Stay updated on job knowledge through educational opportunities and reading relevant technical publications.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Non-Essential Functions:

  • Opportunity to acquire an operator fork trucks license, or other material handling equipment, to remove and return components and/or finished goods from warehouse locations.

Position Requirements:

  • Must be 18yo or older.
  • 1-3 years of quality control experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong understanding of inspection techniques and the use of measurement equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and perform dimensional measurements to ensure products meet specifications.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with others.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently to complete projects on schedule.
  • Willingness to learn and grow with increased responsibility.

Shift Details

1st Shift is M-TH, 4 X 10-hour shifts, 6:30 am – 5:00 pm.

All employees are expected to work overtime hours as needed.
Overtime is typically twice a month on Fridays and are 8-hour shifts.
