Job description

This is an opportunity in the exciting and fast-growing transportation technology industry.  Public transit is being transformed from a system of static, scheduled fixed-routes, to a dynamic on-demand network, and you’ll be one of the pioneers shaping this transformation. 

As a Reporting Analyst on our Customer Success team, you will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive client satisfaction, operational performance, and strategic decision-making. You will work closely with Business Analysts, Project Managers, Data Engineers, and the Technical Services team to design, deliver, and present reports that measure key success metrics across multiple stakeholders and customer touchpoints.

This central role within our Customer Success team ensures high data integrity and delivers the reporting capabilities necessary to optimize operations and guide strategic decision-making. 

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the customer discovery process to understand their existing reports, usage, and RideCo initial reports required for launch to ensure continuity of operations for the customer.
  • Map RideCo’s reporting suite to the customer’s legacy reports and systems, identifying key areas that require report modifications, new development, or customer change management customer education and change management.
  • Design, create and maintain automated, scalable Power BI reports for internal and external clients, utilizing Power BI practices in DAX.
  • Track KPIs and collaborate on defining new metrics that better align with client success and long-term retention goals.
  • Generate custom and ad-hoc reports post-launch to address emerging operational needs and client requests. 
  • Standardize reporting by continuously eliminating redundant dashboards to build a more robust package of standard reports. 
  • Provide support for Redshift, guiding customers on querying data, communicating data changes that impact models, and troubleshooting technical issues. 
  • Develop internal reports tailored for cross-customer analysis and broad performance benchmarking. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Data Engineering, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to understand data models, facilitate seamless knowledge transfer, provide technical support, and prioritize reporting requests requiring data model updates. 
  • Other duties and projects as assigned. 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Degree in Management Engineering / Applied Mathematics / Statistics / Finance / Business / Planning, or related discipline.
  • 2+ years  experience in a data analyst, reporting analyst, or customer success analytics role.
  • Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Power BI is required with the ability to create clean, actionable reports, designed in close collaboration with business stakeholders. 
  • Experience with Redshift and DAX, experience with DAX Studio and Tabular Editor is an advantage. 
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively convey findings in a clear manner to technical and non-technical stakeholders. 
  • Proactive self-starter with strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal, project management and organizational skills.
