Position Summary

The Plumbing Service Technician I is an entry-level role supporting the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems for residential and commercial customers. This position is designed for individuals early in their plumbing career who want to gain hands-on experience while being mentored by licensed plumbers and service leaders.


Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems including water supply lines, fixtures, drainage systems, and piping.
  • Support licensed plumbers in troubleshooting plumbing issues and implementing solutions.
  • Perform basic tasks such as cutting and assembling pipe, prepping tools, and staging materials.
  • Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicle in safe and clean condition.
  • Accurately document work performed and communicate with supervisors on job status.
  • Follow company safety protocols, OSHA standards, and Texas plumbing code requirements.
  • Provide courteous, professional customer service while representing Satex Plumbing.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0–2 years of plumbing or construction experience (apprenticeship/trade school a plus).
  • Basic knowledge of plumbing systems, tools, and equipment.
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., work in varied conditions, and perform physical tasks.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Valid Texas driver’s license and reliable transportation required.
