You will assist with the physical and day-to-day demands of grooming while receiving hands-on training from a talented groomer who has a passion for teaching.

Why join Zoomin Groomin Greenville:
  • Paid hands-on training: Learn directly from an experienced professional groomer.

  • Strong earning potential: Earn around $300 / day thanks to a combination of 45% commission for the grooms performed and $20/hr during training session

  • Career advancement: Develop the skills needed to progress toward an independent Mobile Pet Stylist position.

  • A schedule that gives you a life: Work 3 or 4 productive days per week.

  • Health insurance: Medical, dental, and vision insurance available for eligible team members.

  • Body-care perks: Monthly massages and chiropractor visits.

  • Professional development: Annual groomers conference and additional training opportunities.

  • Tool support: Professional tool sharpening every 3 months, plus 30% off Groomer’s Choice products.

A calmer, higher-quality grooming model:

This is not a high-volume salon environment. Our service is built around one-on-one luxury care, where each pet receives more personal attention and a grooming team focused on quality, safety, and comfort.

You will work directly with one pet family at a time in a premium mobile grooming spa while learning in a real-world environment.

Support that lets you focus on learning:
  • Scheduling support: Our scheduling team manages client appointments and routes.

  • Van and maintenance support: Our maintenance team manages van maintenance and mechanical issues.

  • Local leadership support: Our operations managers are available to provide day-to-day support.

  • Dedicated mentorship: You will work closely with an experienced groomer who will teach, coach, and provide regular feedback.

What you will do:
  • Perform pet handling, bathing, drying, brushing, de-shedding, nail care, and coat preparation.

  • Assist the lead groomer throughout each appointment.

  • Learn haircutting, styling, and finishing techniques under supervision.

  • Keep the van clean, organized, and properly sanitized.

  • Prepare tools and supplies for each appointment.

  • Communicate professionally with pet parents.

  • Help the grooming team stay safe, organized, and on schedule.

What we are looking for:
  • Previous experience working professionally with dogs or cats.

  • Entry-level grooming experience preferred.

  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

  • Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and willingness to learn.

  • Patience, attention to detail, and respect for animal safety.

  • Positive mindset and ability to work closely with another groomer.

  • Genuine interest in developing a long-term grooming career.

Why this role is different:

This is a great fit for someone who has a strong foundation with animals but needs more training and hands-on experience before becoming an independent groomer.

You will have the opportunity to learn directly from an accomplished professional while supporting her throughout the grooming day. The goal is to help the right person grow into a confident Mobile Pet Stylist.

Apply confidentially to Zoomin Groomin Greenville, SC.
