Job description

Position Overview


VSSI Staffing is hiring an Electronics Repair Technician for a leading electronics manufacturing and repair company. This position is responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing printed circuit boards (PCBs), motherboards, and electronic components while maintaining high-quality workmanship.

This is a great opportunity for candidates with electronics repair experience or an IPC Certification looking to grow their career in the electronics industry.


Pay

$20.00 per hour


Schedule

Monday – Friday

6:45 AM – 3:15 PM


Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair motherboards, PCBs, and electronic assemblies
  • Troubleshoot electronic components to identify failures
  • Perform component-level repairs using hand tools and soldering equipment
  • Inspect completed repairs to ensure quality standards are met
  • Follow IPC standards and company repair procedures
  • Maintain accurate repair documentation
  • Work safely while meeting daily production goals


Qualifications

Required

  • IPC Certification required if you do not have prior electronics repair experience
  • OR 6+ months of hands-on electronics repair experience
  • Ability to read work instructions and follow repair procedures
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic

Preferred

  • Experience repairing motherboards, circuit boards (PCB), or electronic assemblies
  • IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721, or similar IPC certifications
  • Experience with soldering, desoldering, microscopes, and electronic testing equipment
