Job description

DeVivo Companies is hiring a full-time, alternative-shift Auto Paint Prepper for our Randolph, MA body shop. In this entry-level role, you will prepare vehicles for the repair process, helping our technicians deliver high-quality results while learning the business and growing your career.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Prepare vehicles properly for paint, including washing, taping, masking, etc.
  • Identify imperfections
  • Rub and polish completed vehicles
  • Assist technician in other areas as assigned
  • Attend/collaborate with team during daily production meetings
  • Work closely with coworkers to meet deadlines
  • Keep parts area clean and organized for production efficiency
  • Dispose of hazardous waste in an appropriate manner.

Position Requirements:
  • 1+ years' experience in a related field
  • High school diploma, trade school or equivalent
  • Be able to work in a flexible, fast-paced environment
  • Driver's license
  • I-CAR or ASE training will set you above the crowd
