Position Summary:
Leon Surgery Centers at Dadeland is seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse for our Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in surgical nursing and demonstrate exceptional patient care skills. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality during surgical procedures. The Registered Nurse will collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care for patients undergoing surgery.
Responsibilities:
  • Receives patients from anesthesia and performs post-anesthesia assessments.
  • Monitors vital signs, airway, pain level, and neurological status.
  • Administers medications and treatments to manage pain, nausea, and other post-operative needs.
  • Provides discharge education and instructions to patients and caregivers.
