Job Description
Maintenance Trades Helper
North Charleston, SC
Remote
Salary Range: $19.26-$20.78 an hour
MANDEX currently has a need for a Maintenance Trades Helper (MTH) to join the MHS LAN team in North Charleston, SC. This is an entry-level position.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
  • Assists one or more technicians performing specific or general duties such as:
  • Keeping technicians supplied with materials and tools.
  • Cleaning work areas and equipment.
  • Assisting junior and senior level technicians with job responsibilities.
  • Performing other tasks as directed by technicians related to the infrastructure design task list to include installing new copper and fiber optic cable plant, cable pathway, firewall penetrations, and wireless access points.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
Experience:
  • Two (2) years' practical experience in electronics and data cabling installation.

Education:
  • High school diploma or GED.

Training:
  • Completion of formal in-house training program to include familiarization with installation skills (i.e., installation of copper and fiber optic cable plant, operation of standard test equipment, power tools, etc.).
