Zachary Piper Solutions is looking for a Design Engineer to join a design services company for mission critical systems. This is based in Ashburn, VA. Essential Duties of theDesign Engineer: * Developing, Identifying, Coordinating, and Tracking project requirements
* Coordinating detailed telecommunications pathway designs to support inside and outside plant cabling infrastructure to include fill calculations, BIM, etc.
* Identifying, writing and responding to Requests for Information (RFI)
* Producing coordinated detailed design and construction drawings in AutoCAD or REVIT based on project requirements and specifications.
* Creating and managing cable run lists/system labeling
* Identifying products, creating Bill of Materials, and developing
Qualifications of theDesign Engineer: * 2+ year of experience
* Good experience with 2D design with AutoCAD or Revit.
* Experience in structured cabling projects including ISP and OSP.
* B.S. in Engineering or related field.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance in the future.
Compensation for theDesign Engineer: * $100,000 - $115,000 (based on experience)
