Senior Accountant
Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant who combines strong technical accounting knowledge with curiosity, sound judgment, and a collaborative approach. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional who enjoys solving complex accounting challenges, takes initiative, and is eager to learn while partnering across the organization and gaining exposure to senior leadership.

This is a hybrid role working 3 days on-site per week in Bend, Oregon.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities

  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including consolidations, eliminations, financial statement preparation, and analytical review.
  • Research and apply U.S. GAAP guidance to complex transactions, with an emphasis on lease accounting, business combinations, and revenue recognition.
  • Prepare complex reconciliations, journal entries, supporting schedules, financial reports, and related accounting documentation.
  • Support external audits, including preparation of workpapers, financial statement disclosures, footnotes, and responses to auditor requests.
  • Partner across the business on accounting initiatives, process improvements, ERP enhancements, and implementation of new accounting standards.

Senior Accountant Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with 35 years of relevant accounting experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and experience with ASC 842 lease accounting and ASC 805 business combinations; familiarity with ASC 606 revenue recognition is also desired.
  • CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred, with public accounting experience highly valued.
  • Experience with financial reporting, consolidations, technical accounting, reconciliations, and audit support within a structured accounting environment.
  • Proficiency with ERP and financial reporting systems; NetSuite and Oracle EPM experience are preferred, along with solid Excel skills.

Salary: $85K-$90K/year + Bonus. (DOE)
