Argenta, MVS is currently looking for a Research Assistant at our Manhattan, KS location.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Collaborates with Investigators, Animal Care Staffand Clinical Research Associates in collecting and organizing study data
  • Assist in animal care at all levelsof the organization
  • Collaborates inthereviewofstudy records and all study notebooks to ensure contents are current and complete
  • Assists in providingtracking and Quality Control (QC) of data as required and assists with responses to QA audits
  • Mastery of Good Clinical Practice (GCP)
  • Helps to creatematerials and documentation for the study
  • Develop, maintain, review/update, and ensure regulatory compliance for the SOPs that are in place


About You:


  • Associate'sdegree, preferably in a scientific discipline or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a scientific discipline and/or veterinary/veterinary technician experience
  • Experience with medical/veterinary terminology
  • Experience working with EDC systems (Electronic Data Capture) is a plus
  • Position requires significant computer skills including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
    • Capable of working in a changing environment and under pressure
    • Supports organizational goals and objectives aligned to strategic and/or operations plans
    • Understanding of GLP regulations and relevant EPA regulations
    • Actively listens to ensure understanding
