These roles often include duties such as assisting with drilling operations, maintaining equipment, and performing general labor tasks on oil rigs or at production sites. Common entry level positions include roustabout, floorhand, or lease operator. They provide opportunities to learn industry skills and safety procedures, with on-the-job training. These jobs can be physically demanding and may require working in remote locations or under challenging weather conditions.
