As a Registered Nurse NICU, your voice to influence patient care is valued and empowered at every turn –whether through open, collaborative relationships with your direct manager or more formal opportunities through hospital councils and national nursing initiatives. You'll help shape decisions that elevate both patient outcomes and the future of nursing.

Job Summary and Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic NICU RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care and treatment in our patient centered care model. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.   


WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE: 


  • Provides age specific care regarding physiological and nutritional needs of the neonate 
  • Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams in planning patient care 
  • Facilitates bonding of infant and family, to include Kangaroo Care, promoting Family Care model  
  • Reassures parents by providing education/explanations in easily understood terms to reduce stress  
  • Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team  

Requirements: 


  • Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation. 
  • BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start  
  • 1 year of RN experience in NICU is preferred 
  • BSN is preferred 
  • BLS and NRP-Neonatal (AHA Healthcare provider) required
