Clinical Dietitian I (Entry Level) - Travel Position
Location: Stockton, CA
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8 Days
Pay: $2170/weekCompletion Bonus: Up to $7,500 total. ( You will receive $2,500 after the successful completion of each of your first 3 contracts with us)
Job Description:
We are seeking an entry-level Clinical Dietitian I to assess the nutritional status of patients in anacute care setting. This clinician is responsible for recommending and counseling patients, families, and/or caregivers on appropriate nutrition plans to improve disease management. This role requires acute clinical experience and works with a general patient population, receiving supervision from senior clinical nutrition staff for more complex levels of care.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform nutritional assessment using validated tools, resulting in nutrition-related diagnoses, and conduct routine screening to identify patients at nutritional risk.
  • Develop an intervention plan, including appropriate feeding route, mode, and nutrition prescription, unique to the patient's specific needs and in accordance with physicians' orders.
  • Implement targeted and specific nutrition interventions and provide customized nutrition education to patients, families, and caregivers.
  • Monitor, evaluate, and rescreen patient nutrition status, updating the plan of care as necessary and thoroughly documenting measurable goals in the medical record.
  • Collaborate within an interdisciplinary environment to facilitate care, identifying patients at risk or needing higher levels of care.
  • Collaborate with the Food and Nutrition Services team to enhance the patient experience, including participation in test trays, menu reviews, and accuracy auditing.

Qualifications:
  • Registered Dietitian (RD) via CDR (Commission on Dietetic Registration) is REQUIRED.
  • Acute clinical experience is REQUIRED.
  • Must be comfortable working in an Acute Care setting
  • COVID vaccine, recent TB test
  • Cerner charting experience is required.
