We help our customers build trust and accelerate operations through robust identity, access management, and data insights. Our solutions empower enterprises to make timely, informed decisions in a secure and compliant manner.
Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated Associate Software Engineer to join our DevOps team in Cincinnati. In this hands-on role, you will help build and support automation tools and CI/CD pipelines, working alongside experienced engineers and using cutting-edge tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to accelerate development. You will also contribute to software that improves how we build, test, and deploy applications in the cloud.
Key Responsibilities
Your day if you join us:
  • Develop and enhance full stack applications that support automation, deployment, and internal developer tooling.
  • Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools to streamline software delivery.
  • Write scripts and infrastructure-as-code (IaC) using Terraform, PowerShell, Bash, or Python to automate cloud provisioning and operational tasks.
  • Collaborate with peers onsite in real-time to debug issues, design solutions, and deliver working software in a fast-paced environment.
  • Learn new technologies on the fly and adapt quickly to project needs, using Generative AI tools like GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT to accelerate development.
  • Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and agile ceremonies, contributing actively to team deliverables.
  • Support the monitoring and observability of automation solutions, ensuring performance, traceability, and availability.
  • Help document processes, tools, and learnings to improve team productivity and onboarding for future engineers.
  • Take ownership of tasks and demonstrate a bias for action, even when working in unfamiliar areas.

Required Qualifications
You meet our "must haves" for this role if you have:
  • 1-3 years of experience in software development, DevOps, or related technical roles, including internships or personal projects.
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, JavaScript, Java, or .NET.
  • Hands-on experience using Generative AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Codex) to write, refactor, or troubleshoot code.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or GitLab CI, and a basic understanding of modern software delivery pipelines.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (Azure preferred; AWS or Google Cloud acceptable) through academic, project, or hands-on experience.
  • Comfort with scripting and automation in PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
  • Understanding Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles; experience with tools like Terraform is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of containers and development in Linux-based environments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proven ability to learn new technologies independently as needed.
  • Willingness to work onsite in a collaborative environment, engaging directly with peers to deliver working solutions quickly.

Preferred Qualifications
You are exactly who we are looking for if you:
  • Have experience building or contributing to internal tools, automation frameworks, or developer platforms.
  • Are proficient with container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes) and related concepts like Helm or service meshes.
  • Bring hands-on exposure to monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, Prometheus, Grafana, or similar.
  • Possess strong knowledge of secure coding practices and working in compliance-driven environments (e.g., FedRAMP, ITAR, NIST).
  • Demonstrate the ability to prototype quickly and iterate using AI-assisted coding workflows.
  • Have completed coursework or certification in cloud architecture, DevOps, or cybersecurity.
  • Contribute to open-source projects or strong personal coding portfolio showcasing full stack or DevOps-related work.
  • Hold a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Business or other related field.
