Position Highlights
The Finance Department is hiring a Limited Term Adjunct Lecturer to teach one section of FIN 580 (Real Estate Valuation) online in the spring semester March 15 - May 2, 2027. The department is seeking an individual with experience teaching upper division undergraduate or graduate finance courses at an AACSB-accredited university.
Finance is one of the most popular majors at the University of Arizona. In addition to a rigorous and integrated core curriculum taught by leading scholars, students in the finance major have the opportunity to engage in several additional opportunities, including the Investments Club, the Financial Modeling Club, and the Wall Street Scholars program. Moreover, finance students engage in many experiential learning activities - including managing a "real" million-dollar portfolio (FIN 423/523), the CFA Institutes' Research Challenge, and the Chicago Quantitative Alliance Competition.
The department offers an undergraduate degree in Finance, a Master's of Science in Finance Program (both online and in-person), teaches multiple required and elective courses in the Eller MBA program (full-time MBA, evening MBA, online MBA, and executive MBA), and has a highly competitive PhD program.

  • Preparation of course instruction and materials.
  • Grade assignments, presentations, and exams.
  • Hold office hours for enrolled students.
  • Submit final grades at the end of the course.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Masters of Science in Finance or a closely related field from an AACSB accredited institution.
  • Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
  • Experience teaching university-level financecourses.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience teaching university-level finance courses at an AACSB accredited institution.
