Customer Service Maintenance Technician

What you will enjoy doing*
  • You will use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, internet search tools, smartphones, tablets, and handheld data-entry devices
  • Work 8-12 hour days outdoors in all weather conditions and participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation unless scheduled off
  • Travel daily throughout assigned territory, with occasional overnight travel required
  • Safely operate a company service vehicle and maintain a valid driver's license
  • Further, you will independently plan, prioritize, and manage daily and weekly workloads based on work orders, schedules, and customer needs
  • Provide remote support coverage for Northern and Central Georgia, with a primary focus on the Greater Atlanta area
  • Maintain professional communication with customers, sales representatives, contractors, management, and internal teams
  • Follow written and verbal instructions, company policies, safety procedures, and maintenance standards
  • And you will read and interpret drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and materials-of-construction documentation
  • Troubleshoot, inspect, maintain, and repair cryogenic systems, including pumps, refrigeration equipment, and leak repairs
  • You will perform pipefitting, system installation, and electrical troubleshooting activities
  • Service and diagnose regulators, solenoids, check valves, manual and automatic valves, pressure relief devices, and rupture discs
  • And you will complete required technical training and certification programs at the company's National Training Center
  • Support and promote a strong safety culture while working collaboratively as part of a team

What makes you great
  • You have a High School Diploma or GED required
  • More than two (2+) years of experience in maintenance, installation, or repair of mechanical and electrical systems preferred; entry-level candidates with relevant skills and aptitude will be considered
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn and effectively use Microsoft Office applications, mobile devices, handheld data-entry equipment, and other job-related technology
  • Ability to quickly learn new software, equipment, and maintenance systems
  • You have refrigeration, HVAC, or cryogenic systems experience preferred but not required
  • Welding and/or brazing experience preferred but not required
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in mechanical and electrical environments
  • You have ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of organization and attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
