What is an entry level MicroStation?

Entry level MicroStation jobs are positions for individuals who are new to using MicroStation, a computer-aided design (CAD) software developed by Bentley Systems. These roles typically involve assisting with drafting, modeling, and updating engineering or architectural drawings under the supervision of senior staff. Entry level employees may work for engineering firms, construction companies, or government agencies and are expected to have basic knowledge of MicroStation, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn more advanced technical skills on the job.

What do entry level MicroStation professionals do?

As an Entry Level MicroStation professional, you will likely assist with creating and editing technical drawings, drafting site plans, and updating design documents for engineering and construction projects. You may collaborate closely with engineers and senior drafters to ensure accuracy and compliance with project standards. Over your first year, you can expect to gain experience in using MicroStation software for civil, electrical, or architectural layouts, participate in project meetings, and learn industry standards for documentation and file management.
