• Develop and maintain a trusting and positive rapport with patients through empathetic listening and open communication.
• Diagnose mental health disorders and create tailored treatment plans to address specific patient needs and circumstances.
• Facilitate individual and couples counseling sessions utilizing evidence-based practices that encourage positive behavioral changes.
• Conduct ongoing assessments and modify treatment plans as necessary to track progress and address new challenges.
• Refer clients to specialized services or additional support as needed, ensuring comprehensive care.
• Engage in case documentation and reporting in compliance with organizational protocols, maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards.

As an LMFT at the Center for Family Counseling, you will encounter diverse clients ranging from individuals struggling with anxiety and depression to couples navigating relationship difficulties. Our focus is primarily on helping families and couples strengthen their relationships and improve communication skills, as well as providing tailored support for clients facing trauma, grief, or co-occurring disorders. The variety of client backgrounds and presenting issues will allow you to expand your professional skills while making a noticeable impact in their lives.

• A valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Demonstrated expertise in therapeutic techniques and approaches for diverse mental health challenges.

• Specialized training or experience in addiction counseling and knowledge of evidence-based practices for co-occurring disorders.
• Previous experience working in an outpatient setting or with telehealth services is preferred.
• A strong understanding of local community resources available to clients seeking additional support.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 85,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes full health insurance, retirement plans with company match, paid time off, holiday pay, annual bonuses, and performance-based quarterly productivity bonuses. Employees working a minimum of 30 hours per week will receive a full benefits and compensation package, including generous mileage reimbursement for travel related to client care.
